eCollege Launches Enterprise Reporting: A Powerful Program Intelligence Suite

The Reporting Strategy Evolves

eCollege recently released Enterprise Reporting, a powerful reporting and analysis tool that delivers extensive program information in an easy-to-use product. As the evolution of eCollege’s reporting strategy, Enterprise Reporting provides flexible access to a wide range of data from your online campus.

To provide this robust reporting suite, eCollege has partnered with Cognos, an IBM company and the world leader in business intelligence and performance management solutions. Cognos’ proven software approach provides an adaptive analytics framework that eCollege has leveraged for Enterprise Reporting’s powerful trending and monitoring capabilities.
 
The Enterprise Reporting package allows institutions to identify at-risk students early and provide assistance to help them succeed. Enterprise Reporting gives eCollege customers the tools they need to make informed decisions that will improve learning throughout the institution, increasing student success and retention over time.  

The initial release of Enterprise Reporting includes the following functionality.

• Creation of the eCollege Data Warehouse (ERDW) including:
  1. User Data: demographic information and extended user properties
  2. Enrollments: node and course
  3. User Activity: activity minutes and submission counts
  4. Grades: detailed grade information
• Integrates with Cognos 8.3
• Create and execute custom reports on the fly
• Examine student and instructor activity, grades, enrollments and completion rates with 10 standard reports
• View an at-a-glance breakdown of student and instructor participation in active terms with the At-Risk Activity Dashboard
• Export reports to Excel, PDF, XML or HTML
